Shadow of the Vampire(2000)

I don't know what to say about this one! From an artsy/acting point of the view the movie is top notch but from
an excitement/good story poing of view I think it totally sucked. I had to check to make sure I still had a pulse
after this 92 minute bore-a-thon. The movie is based back in 1922 in Germany where they are making a silent
movie(Nosferatu) that is loosely based on the original Dracula novel. There's nothing exciting offered here to
talk about. The movie does have a cool gloomy feel to it but when you get 30 minutes in you have had enough. I
realled enjoyed John Malkovich's character as the director of 'Nosferatu' but that was about all I liked. I would
only recommend this movie to anyone who has been given less than 3 months to live by your family doctor. If you have 4 months to live and watch it it should take you down to 3.
"How can a movie about making a silent movie be exciting? I want to put my last girl
friend in a silent movie and call it 'In One Ear and Out the Other - The Bitch That Talked Too Much'"
